Sturdy and reliable Shimano Ultegra FC reel is a 2021 novelty. The reel has a main HAGANE gear manufactured by cold forging method. The design incorporates technologies such as MICRO MODULE GEAR II transmission, SILENT DRIVE silent drive, and LONG STROKE SPOOL extended spool.

MICRO MODULE GEAR II gears, SILENT DRIVE silent drive ensure smooth reel operation even under high loads. The LONG STROKE spool, due to its longer shape compared to conventional reels, significantly contributes to casting distance and accuracy. The X Protect system reliably protects mechanisms from water without hindering the reel’s operation.

The new Ultegra FC has a G Free Body housing – another technology from Shimano, the feature of which is that the reel’s center of gravity is located closer to the rod. Due to this center of gravity shift, the fisherman’s hand gets less tired and casting becomes much more convenient.
