UZBEK PLATE Lagan 42 cm

A lyagan is a shallow dish with rounded walls, traditionally used for serving pilaf. Fruits can be placed on a lyagan, and it will become an indispensable decoration for the interior.

Uzbek handmade dishes are known worldwide. Rishtan ceramics are famous far beyond Uzbekistan. Dishes served on such a lyagan keep warm for a very long time, and also:

all dishes are made by hand by experienced eastern masters;

all items are unique and there are simply no two identical ones;

huge variety of shapes and colors;

a thousand-year experience of painting, knowledge is passed down from generation to generation;

only natural paints made from plants and minerals are used;

quartz sand is used as a glaze;

firing takes place in wood-burning ovens (as it was 1000 years ago);
