Operation:

• Adjust the “savers” so that they hang at a suitable height around your neck
• Always wear rescue spikes in a way that allows quick access
• Wear the “savers” in a manner that prevents self-injury with the spikes

During an emergency:

• Disconnect the “savers” from each other
• Grip them in your fists with spikes pointing downward
• Forcefully drive the “savers” into the ice and try to pull yourself onto the ice
• Always try to move in the direction from which you came
• Repeat until you have completely pulled yourself onto the supporting ice
• Rotate while lying down in the direction you came from until you reach solid ground
• Go to a warm place as quickly as possible
