Technical details and design of the Daiwa Freams reel speak for themselves. The Magseals body construction reliably protects the mechanism from water and dirt ingress. A softer power transmission became possible thanks to the innovative Tough Digi Gear main transmission technology with an enlarged cold-forged duralumin gear with improved tooth geometry.

The body and rotor are manufactured from Daiwa’s proprietary lightweight and rigid Zaion carbon material. Moreover, the 18 Freams LT model received a more powerful friction mechanism with a very fine and smooth adjustment. High-class ball bearings, proven in action, are responsible for smooth operation and durability. The picture is complemented by the Twist Buster line anti-twist system and, for the first time appearing in the Freams design, a machined screw-in handle.
