NCRT is a high-strength, lightweight structural plastic made of pure carbon, embedded in a polymer base. For this, Japanese carbon strands are pre-ground in a special mill to nano-particle size. Only in this case can one achieve such important properties for a spinning reel as extremely low weight and maximum strength. Due to its extremely low weight, which is almost 20% less than the weight of aluminum or ABS reels, the Ryobi NCRT Slam Slar reel is an ideal complement to light and ultralight spinning rods. But the Ryobi Slam Slar material can do even more: it is very strong, resistant to corrosion, UV radiation, and impacts. Due to the strength of the body, the high-precision internal mechanism can be precisely inserted with minimal deviations, with the precision of new production equipment up to 0.001 millimeters, which improves smoothness of operation. The reel features a carbon brake, a titanium spool shaft, which increases strength and reduces its weight. Now Ryobi NCRT Slam Slar is supplied with a new “Spring Load Anti Reverse System”, the reverse gear switch automatically returns to the “reverse gear closed” position thanks to the spring. This is convenient when fishing from a boat during drift, now releasing the line without opening the bail.
